Our History
Lecheq Farm & Distillery has deep roots dating back to the 1950s. Zagatala, with its perfect climate, has always been known for rose cultivation. Unfortunately, the industry came to a halt in the 1990s after the collapse of the USSR. But in 2016, we reignited this cherished tradition, starting with 80 hectares and expanding to 182 hectares, growing a variety of plants like Rosa Damascena, Lavandula Angustifolia, Mentha Piperita, and Artemisia Annua. Our state-of-the-art distillery can process up to 60 tons of fresh petals daily during peak season, making us a leading name in essential oil production
A Legacy Reborn
Our story is a tribute to the local artisans of Azerbaijan, who have been harnessing the magic of rose petals and rose water for centuries. In the early 1950s, Zagatala's first industrial rose gardens flowered, marking the beginning of an era. However, it was not until 2016 that our vision revived the forgotten legacy, reintroducing the cultivation of exquisite rose varieties like Rose Damascena, Rose Raduga, and Rose Centifolia.

Since our revival in 2016, we have blossomed into one of the premier organic essential oil producers in the region, steadfastly becoming the pearl of the Land of Roses.
Our Distillery
At the heart of Lecheq Farm & Distillery lies our state-of-the-art distillery, a testament to both tradition and innovation. Equipped with 17 copper hydro-distillery tankers exclusively for rose processing and 2 stainless steel steam-distillery tankers for other plants, our facility can process up to 60 tons of fresh petals daily during the peak season in May. Additionally, our 4 main cohobating tankers ensure the highest quality and efficiency in production.
Our advanced installation system produces high-quality organic rose water without oxygen contamination, with a storage capacity of 100 tons. This technology allows us to capture the true essence of our plants, resulting in essential oils and hydrolats celebrated for their purity and rich composition.
Situated amidst our 182 hectares of lush organic fields in Zagatala, Azerbaijan, our distillery is strategically located to minimize the time between harvesting and processing, ensuring the freshest and most potent extracts. This proximity enhances the quality of our products, capturing the vibrant essence of Rosa Damascena, Lavandula Angustifolia, Mentha Piperita, and Artemisia Annua.
